During my Biomedical Sciences Master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam, I became very interested in astrocytes and their contribution to neuronal functioning. During my PhD, I will continue to study neuron-glia interaction and examine the role of astrocytes in memory engrams. To do so, I will use multiple genetic tools and fear conditioning in mice.
My project is shared between the teams of Mark Verheijen and Michel van den Oever
